Island AOI

A fully automated island AOI is PCB inspection in an island setup, which creates the possibility of unmanned inspection operation, as it combines an Automatic Optical Inspection machine with loader/unloader units. This AOI setup is often of preference as it provides several advantages in terms of automation and comfort.

The Mek PowerSpector fully automated Island AOI combines the lower cost PowerSpector Desktop AOI system with loading/unloading units, which result in a small footprint of the island giving it the flexibility to be placed anywhere in production for a wide range of inspection tasks.
